Last updated: March 5, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Sentinel AI Lab uses them, and the choices you have regarding their use. By continuing to use our website and Service, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with this policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide reporting information to site owners.

Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Sentinel AI Lab) are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called third-party cookies.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies on the Sentinel AI Lab platform:

3. Specific Cookies We Set

Below are examples of the specific cookies used on our platform:

  • __session — Firebase authentication session cookie. Used to keep you logged in. Expires at end of browser session or after 14 days.
  • _stripe_sid / _stripe_mid — Set by Stripe for fraud prevention during payment flows. Expires after 30 minutes / 1 year respectively.
  • _ga / _ga_* — Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish users and track usage metrics. Expires after 2 years.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We use the following third-party services which may set cookies:

  • Stripe — for payment processing and fraud prevention. See Stripe's Cookie Policy for details.
  • Google Analytics — for anonymised usage analytics. See Google's Privacy & Terms for details.
  • Firebase (Google) — for authentication and real-time data services.

5. Your Cookie Choices

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies (other than strictly necessary cookies, which are required for the Service to function).

  • Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing cookies via your browser settings. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions.
  • Opt-out tools: You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Do Not Track: Some browsers have a 'Do Not Track' feature. We currently do not respond to DNT signals, but we do not engage in cross-site behavioural advertising.

6. What Happens If You Disable Cookies?

If you choose to disable cookies, some parts of the Service may not function correctly. In particular, disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in and using most features of the platform.

Analytics and functional cookies can generally be disabled without significantly affecting your ability to use the core Service, though some personalization features may be lost.

7. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date.

We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
