At Sentinel AI Lab, your privacy is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform and services. Please read it carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share your information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, Firebase for infrastructure, OpenAI / Google / Perplexity APIs for query processing) — only to the extent necessary to provide services to you.
- Professional advisors such as lawyers and accountants where necessary.
- Law enforcement or government authorities when required by law or to protect our rights.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our website.
4. AI Query Processing
The core functionality of Sentinel AI Lab involves sending your prompts to third-party AI providers (including OpenAI, Google, and Perplexity). When you submit a prompt, it is transmitted to these providers' APIs in accordance with their respective privacy and data usage policies.
We recommend that you do not include sensitive personal information within your prompts. Sentinel AI Lab is not responsible for how AI providers process or use query data. Please review the privacy policies of OpenAI, Google, and Perplexity for details on their data handling practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.
Aggregated and anonymized data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained indefinitely for product analytics and improvement.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
